President
The President of the Regional Park Authority is appointed by decree of the President of the Regional Council. He has the legal representation of the Park Authority, coordinates its activities, performs the functions delegated to him by the Governing Council, and adopts urgent and undeferrable measures, which he submits to the Governing Council for ratification at its first subsequent meeting. The President of the Regional Park Authority is vested with the powers referred to in Article 29 of Law 394/91.

Governing Council
The Board of Directors consists of the President and eight members, appointed by the President of the Regional Government, after consultation with the Technical Scientific Committee for Protected Areas, as follows:
- by four members appointed by the Park Community representing the municipalities, provinces and mountain communities included in the protected area;
- One member by nomination from Environmental Associations recognized by the Ministry of Environment operating in Calabria;
- One member by nomination from the scientific and academic institutions of Calabria;
- One member by designation from the agricultural organizations in Calabria;
- A qualified member representing the regional parks department.
The Governing Council deliberates on all general matters concerning the Park Authority and in particular on budgets, which are approved by the Regional Council after consultation with the Regional Scientific Technical Committee for Protected Areas, and also:
- Defines the criteria and adopts the plan for the Park;
- Adopts park regulations;
- Adopts the multi-year economic and social plan prepared by the Park Community;
- Decides, after consultation with the Park Community, on the statutes of the Park Authority;
- Resolves the census of botanical and wildlife species with special attention to rare and endemic species found in the protected area.

Park community
The Park Community is an advisory and proactive body of the Park Authority; it consists of the Presidents of the Provinces or delegated councilors, the Presidents of the Mountain Communities or delegated councilors, and the Mayors or delegated councilors whose territory falls within the Park areas.
The Park Community gives a mandatory and binding opinion:
- On the plan for the park;
- On park regulations;
- On the statute of the park authority;
- On the budget and the final account;
- On other matters at the request of one-third of the Governing Council.
The Park Community prepares the Economic and Social Plan and forwards it to the Governing Council for adoption.

Single auditor
The Single Auditor, appointed by the Regional Council, is the economic and financial auditing body of the management body.12
The Single Auditor exercises supervision over the accounting and financial regularity of the management of the Park Authority, prepares a report on the budget and the final account, and makes proposals aimed at achieving better efficiency and economy of management.
